I'm an ordinary bloke trying to live an extraordinary life. I was born with a disease called Cystic Fibrosis in 1971, the prognosis was very bleak back then, life expectancy was just ten years old!
I've been very fortunate in my lifetime, the devotion of my Mum n Dad fighting n believing in me was off the charts, without their devotion I'd be dead.
Equal to their devotion n fighting spirit duelling for me are my two sons, Ben and Jesse James, they did my physiotherapy that kept me alive long enough to receive my double lung transplant to save my life.
I'm doing incredible well now, i've even represented Australia swimming, cycling and discus, in Spain and England at the World Transplant Games, travelling the world is just a pure privilege, its hard to explain.
I'm so passionate to now advocate n 'bat' for all those young ones with CF to gain everything they need to have their greatest shot at living a full, happy n prosperous life, the mutual encouragement of this is so humbling n an honour!
