As a serial entrepreneur and the Founder of Human Kind Project (HKP), Jacinta McDonell is disrupting the non-profit space and fast becoming the public voice of using ‘Business for Good’. Invested in creating a purpose beyond profit, Jacinta works with inspired brands and creative minds to embed social giving into businesses, building brand equity and standing by her unwavering focus to end world hunger in the process.
An avid believer in the fact that actions speak louder than words, Jacinta has personally raised over $150,000 to aid in ending world hunger by the year 2030. These funds were donated to HKP’s delivery partner, The Hunger Project Australia, and made a difference across the globe by shifting the mentality of villagers living in hunger from one of needing a handout, to one of reaching self-sufficiency - so that the hungry themselves, are the ones to end their own hunger.
In the past year alone, Human Kind Project has raised over $290,000 and with these funds, has changed mindsets and unlocked leadership in over 7,000 humans across the globe. HKP is registered with the ACNC and is a DGR2 status foundation completely invested in ending inequality within our global community.
In 2008, Jacinta co-founded Anytime Fitness Australia, launching the highly successful US franchise here alongside her brother Justin, and business partner Richard Piel. Since then, she has also launched Urban Yoga, which is best described as a fully immersive yoga experience that drops the traditional yoga-speak, and instead lifts the volume on DJ mixed tracks and mind-blowing imagery, catering to the fun of yoga, and getting rid of the boring bits.
Jacinta highly values her energy and the energy of those around her, only choosing to invest her time in things that contribute to positive change either in her personal life, or as a ripple effect into the bigger picture of our world.
Be HUMAN. Be KIND. Be YOU.
