An introduction to Social Impact Measurement

What we are asking for and why?

Benojo’s resident Impact Measurement specialist Greg Nairn will guide you through the basics of planning for effective Social Impact measurement. This is a hot topic - aside from informing practice, a clear trend has developed in public and private sectors about the desire to have clearer insight on whether resources are being allocated in the most impactful way.

Funders, Governments and Corporates are also talking more and more about going beyond traditional service funding models and towards Social Impact models.

But what does this mean exactly?

Greg will lead you through an understanding of;
*Why impact measurement?
*How would I use the results?
*What is the impact measurement lifecycle and how does it relate to a program?
*Demonstrate the value of technology to Social Impact Measurement
*Introduction to Logic Models

Through a discovery session you will understand the theory behind Social Impact measurement models, learn from case studies and start to build your own basic logic model for effective Social Impact based practice.

What we need from you

You do not need to have any experience of working with Social Impact ('Program Logic') models.

You should be involved in the development and evaluation of your organisations' service delivery, and be prepared to bring information about a project to work through.
