ROMAC provides specialist medical treatment for children from island communities of the Southwest Pacific, in the form of life saving and dignity restoring surgery that is not available to them in their home country.
Doctors and their medical colleagues provide complex surgery pro bono. Administrative and operational management is provided by unpaid Rotarians and volunteers.
All donations are used to transport children from their remote places of living to surgical hospitals in Australia and New Zealand, and to pay for their hospital beds and convalescent care.
