Imagine being a parent with nothing to feed your children. This is the reality for thousands of families in Zimbabwe right now.
Severe drought and a failing economy have combined to put millions of people, especially children, at risk of starvation.
The UN World Food Programme (WFP) has warned that food supplies will run out this month without urgent assistance. Many families are surviving on just one meal per day after their crops failed and their country’s currency collapsed, leaving them without cash for food.
Please donate urgently to help starving families survive this year’s ‘hungry season’. Together, we can bring emergency food aid to communities in Mutoko and Goromonzi that are not currently supported by the WFP.
In Mutoko, your gifts will ensure children at five primary schools receive at least one nutritious meal of beans and maize and one nutrient-enhanced drink per day.
In Goromonzi, your gifts will help us bring food rations, including maize and cooking oil, to 1,000 of the most vulnerable families.
Thank you for supporting the Zimbabwe Crisis Appeal.
