The Women's Justice Network is a registered charity made up of a small team of committed paid staff and over 90 dedicated volunteers who work together
to assist women and girls affected by the criminal justice system through our award winning Mentoring Program to lead positive and productive lives. We take a holistic approach to enrich the lives of women and girls not only through our programs, but through our advocacy work and meeting their needs with family restoration , housing applications and referrals to other agencies.
We run several programs that have been designed to be inclusive of women and girls from diverse cultures and gender identity. These programs are the Adult Mentoring Programs, My Way Youth Mentoring Program and Healing From Within, a peer-led creativity program for building confidence, self esteem, resilience and pathways to support.
Women's Justice network are on a quest to secure much needed funding so that our programs can continue to operate to their full capacity. As a small charity our resources are stretched and we do not have the capacity to undertake this project without the support of volunteers.
We are seeking volunteers with grant writing experience to assist the CEO researching and writing grant applications to Government Departments and Philanthropic organisations.
We are looking for people who will be able to commit for two months for approximately 8 hours per week.
Thanks to those that reached out to WJN offering their support.
