St Kilda Mums mission is to rehome preloved nursery goods to support Victorian families in need while saving the earth’s precious resources.
St Kilda Mums collect, sort and redistribute essential nursery equipment, clothing, books and toys for babies and school age children.
Their goal is to make sure children and families are happy, healthy and safe. This is possible when families can provide their children with the best possible foundation in life.
The volunteering day will run from 9.30am to approx 4.00pm at the St Kilda Mums warehouse at 14 Winterton Road, Clayton.
There are a variety of tasks to do during the day, depending upon current needs. These may include:
• Cleaning & preparing prams, cots, highchairs, car restraints etc
• Sorting donations, washing and recycling
• Packing toy, linen, clothing or toiletry bags
• Unpacking deliveries.
You are also welcome to donate your preloved nursery goods, please refer to the St Kilda Mums website for what goods they accept.
Thank you for volunteering. We will set up another volunteering opportunity when we are back in full operational mode.
