On Sunday 12 November, PROJECT FUTURES will host our Inaugural High Tea for up to 300 people at Doltone House at Jones Bay Wharf in Pyrmont to raise funds and awareness of a form of slavery that affects millions of women and girls worldwide – forced and early marriage.
Volunteers will be a critical part of the day, as without your help we will not be able to raise the funds we need to support women and girls experiencing slavery in this country.
Money raised from the event will support The Salvation Army’s Trafficking and Slavery Safe House, the only supported accommodation service for trafficked victims in Australia of which around 20-30 per cent are experiencing early or forced marriage.
Volunteers may be required to perform one or more of the following tasks:
• Pre/Post Event: Set up and pack down of auction prize tables, banners and table decoration
• Guest Registration
• Raffle Ticket Sales: during pre-drinks and lunch
• Selling Merchandise: pre, post and during the event
• Support: to hand out raffle prizes to winners
