In 2019 cyclists will unite to rise through Cabone country in Central West NSW, where towns and communities have been struck by the worst drought on record in over a decade.
Through corporate partnering, individual fundraising efforts and by collectively spending within communities throughout the ride, we aim to bring not only financial relief but demonstrate the Australian spirit of bringing together different communities at a time of need.
Not only will we be riding through the direct path of drought stricken land we will be stopping in affected towns suffering from the hardship of their current situation.
By employing the services of small businesses such as pubs, cafes and restaurants we will ensure that every cent raised through both partnerships, registrations and fundraising goes directly into these communities and provides some relief.
Why am I doing this? Because I'm proudly a farmers daughter and grew up in rural NSW. I know first-hand the devastating impact a drought can have on individuals, families, communities, livestock, wildlife and our environment. This cause is close to my heart and it is a privilege to be apart of this event. Your generous support i greatly appreciated.
Event is being held from 8th-10th of November 2019.
