What we are asking for and why

Sleep Awareness Week draws attention to the importance of sleep as a vital component to a healthy lifestyle. While we have all heard a lot over the years about the importance of a good diet and regular exercise, the importance of sleep has received less attention. The Sleep Health Foundation argues that sleep is the third pillar of health, alongside diet and exercise.

At batyr we know how important it is to get behind campaigns that promote and support the wellbeing of individuals, so we want to help create awareness around the important role sleep plays on our mental health and wellbeing.

The very generous Dr Timothy Sharp (Dr Happy) has also come on board to support and has agreed to give anyone who donates $20 or more to batyr during this week a free* e-copy of his book, “The Good Sleep Guide”
