Screening on Friday nights from 12 October to 23 November, the festival showcases art-house cinema and presents a socio-educational approach from seven film makers from around the world, which you'll enjoy in an intimate atmosphere in the sanctuary at MCC Sydney.
Each screening is accompanied by a film preview and a chat about the movie, and some homemade Catalan croquettes (courtesy of the Rainbow Tapestry Project's Event Coordinator, Claudia).
A chronicle of the childhood, adolescence and burgeoning adulthood of a young, African-American, gay man growing up in a rough neighbourhood of Miami. The story of Moonlight invites the audience to follow the life of a character who feels so alienated from the world around him that he can’t see himself as he is.
Thank you to everyone who came. We look forward to seeing you at the Same Sex Legal seminar on Thursday, 1 November and our next movie on Friday, 2 November. Pj & Claudia
