Screening on Friday nights from 12 October to 23 November, the festival showcases art-house cinema and presents a socio-educational approach from seven film makers from around the world, which you'll enjoy in an intimate atmosphere in the sanctuary at MCC Sydney.
Each screening is accompanied by a film preview and a chat about the movie, and some homemade Catalan croquettes (courtesy of the Rainbow Tapestry Project's Event Coordinator, Claudia).
In an adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's seminal novel The Price of Salt, CAROL follows two women from very different backgrounds who find themselves in an unexpected love affair in 1950s New York. As conventional norms of the time challenge their undeniable attraction, an honest story emerges to reveal the resilience of the heart in the face of change.
The numbers are increasing each week. Thank you to everyone who attended. There are only 2 weeks remaining so come along! Pj & Claudia
