Goal 1: Raise money for the cause
Goal 2: Donate Bags and personal hygiene products to the It's in the Bag Christmas Drive
My darling best friend Sarah and I have decided to participate in the Share the Dignity 2018 fundraising campaign.
Share the Dignity is a women’s charity who aims to make a difference to homeless women and victims of domestic violence.
Share the dignity collects personal hygiene products for women, they fund funerals for victims of domestic violence and they campaign for justice for women in Australia.
We feel strongly about the work they are doing and are excited to participate this year. We will be fundraising in a few ways:
We will be organising bags/products for the Christmas, It’s In The Bag campaign and am calling out for donations.
It’s In The Bag is a drive where people can donate their previously loved or new handbags filled with sanitary products and personal care items.
These items will then be distributed at Christmas to women and children in need.
I will be hosting High Tea for Dignity to help raise $$ for the charity.
We have set up this fundraising page to promote awareness for the charity and to allow people to donate online to support the cause.
We have already begun to collect handbags and products off friends and family.
An example of items you can donate are:
• New or previously loved handbags
• Sanitary pads/Liners/Tampons
• Soap/Body Wash
• Perfume/Deodorant/Body spray
The team also suggest writing a note or Christmas card for the woman who will receive your bag to give it that personal touch and as a reminder to these women that they matter. You can also differentiate if your bag is for a young woman or child by simply tying a yellow ribbon around the bag.

Product donations can be made to myself or Sarah by 14/11/18. If you can't get your items to us you can drop them directly to a Bunnings store.
Money donations can be made to myself or Sarah or through this page directly up until 20 November 2018.
As always thank you for your support and thank you for making a difference to so many Australian lives.
