High Tea For Her Future

About

In October 2018, we held our first annual High Tea event, held on the International Day of the Girl in the beautiful Doltone House in Hyde Park, Sydney. The event sold out and we raised more than $15,000 for the girls in Cambodia. This year, we are back bigger and better! We will be revamping the event to accommodate the demand for tickets, which will DOUBLE our attendance to 200+ guests with a goal to raise $35,000 for our Girls Education Program..

This year we want you to join us!

There will be delicious treats, free flowing sparkling wine, auction & raffle. We again welcome back the fabulous Sami Lukis as our MC, the brilliant performance artist Sarah Rowan (whose piece of art will be auctioned), special guest speaker Rebecca Barry Film Producer and Director of the acclaimed documentary 'I Am A Girl' and the musical talent of Victoria Welch

We have many more wonderful surprises in store for you. This is truly going to be a fabulous event!

Last year this event was sold out - so avoid disappointment and get your tickets early!

Funds raised will enable us to provide specialised mentoring and support to girls in grade 12 to ensure they can graduate school and to also provide a selection of our graduated grade 12 girls with scholarships for higher education; University & Vocational Training.

About AusCam Freedom Project: link

AusCam Freedom Project (AFP) is an Australian registered charity (ABN: 44 501 205 715) whose mission is to empower adolescent girls from impoverished communities to break the cycle of poverty and exploitation through education and holistic support leading to life changing opportunities. We are a small charity with big ambitions to support more adolescent girls across Cambodia (and the world!) to stay in school and become future leaders.

AFP currently works with the urban poor communities of Phnom Penh delivering education scholarships and a range of other programs, including Life skills, digital Literacy; financial management, career counselling and girl clubs within local government schools. Our current focus is on girls aged 12 – 18 years in grade 7 – 12 who without being involved in AFP’s programs would more than likely have dropped out of school.
