The coronavirus has brought many things to a halt, but what it hasn't stopped is the cystic fibrosis community's need for support and assistance.
In the past month, Cystic Fibrosis Community Care NSW has experienced a 200% increase in service enquiries from individuals living with cystic fibrosis and their families - everything from financial to psychosocial support is needed during this time.
It is imperative that our organisation continues to fundraise, and with May - National Cystic Fibrosis Month - just around the corner we have a unique opportunity for you to make a big impact from your home.
We are looking for volunteers that are willing to help promote our CF Virtual Rose Garden campaign - essentially, a digital fundraising appeal where people can purchase digital roses in exchange for a donation. The roses can be personalised with a note and gifted, and they will be planted with all of the other roses in our virtual rose garden. This campaign will run throughout the entire month of May.
If you have an email address and/or any social media accounts, and if you're willing to go out to your network to educate people on what cystic fibrosis is, what CFCC does, and to ask them to donate and share, we would love to talk to you.
A full volunteer briefing on cystic fibrosis and the campaign will be given closer to the campaign's launch. We will provide all materials to be shared.
