Cystic Fibrosis Australia is one of four charity partners that benefit from our ongoing support and is the current charity partner for the Quarter.
Did you know that Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is one of the most common life- shortening genetic illnesses affecting Australians?
Every four days a baby is born in Australia with CF and more than one million Australians are carriers of CF. CFA is committed to improving clinical practice and patient outcomes through its quality improvement programmes and research with the aim of extending life expectancy from 37 to 50 years by 2025. While there is no cure for CF at present, research is being conducted around the world, with large scale programs in Australia, USA and UK.
At PPB, we are supporting CFA for Q2 to help them continue the great work they do.
