Remember, CFT receives no Government funding and we rely on our events and fundraising campaigns - the ones that now can't go ahead. So we're predicting an 85% drop in income over the next six months or more. Yet at the moment our members need us more than ever before.
In these interesting times where many of us are at home, we're sure you are looking for something new for you or your loved ones to keep you busy. Why not set yourself a 65 Roses Challenge, have some fun and raise much-needed donations for CFT at the same time?
Your challenge should somehow incorporate the number 65 in some way (eg 65 minutes, 6.5 minutes, 65 items, 65 repetitions etc).
We ask that you do not break any of the current physical distancing guidelines to undertake your challenge. If you do an exercise challenge such as walking outside, remember that only one person from outside your household can join you. If you have more friends who are interested, encourage them to set up their own challenge and compete against one another!
This year's 65 Roses Campaign was a huge success, even with all the unexpected challenges of physical distancing. A sincere thank you to everyone who took on a challenge or supported one. We are currently in difficult times but the response to this has been heartening and will enable us to continue our support for Tasmanians with CF and their families. We will not provide you with unsolicited mail however if you would like to join our electronic mailing list you can using this link. Otherwise, be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
