Anatomy of Performance - Learn how to maximise your training sessions so you can perform your best on race day at CanToo’s - Anatomy of Performance workshop by Pivot.
Over four weeks(4x 90mins sessions), you’ll better understand how your body and mind cope under stressful conditions. This knowledge is invaluable, especially if you find yourself constantly injured or exhausted, or if you’ve hit a plateau in your training.
Armed with an insight into your own anatomy of performance – based on advances in NeuroBiology and NeuroPsychology – you’ll find your flow state. That’s the sweet spot where you’ll be hitting your stride without going backgrounds.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
How to avoid injuries while training for competition
The signals to look out for when you’re headed towards any negative performance outcomes in your training, such as exhaustion, illness, overtraining or plateauing
How to use advanced techniques, such as tracking heart rate variability, to determine when you’re pushing yourself too hard and causing extreme levels of stress in your body
How your genetics can influence your dietary and training strategy, and the changes to make to achieve sustained improved performance.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll walk away with a deeper understanding of how to take control of your own performance to reach your goals.
