Stephen Hickey (from Aon Hewitt) &
Graeme Bricknell (from Korn Ferry) will be cycling 1,300kms over 9 days from Melbourne to Sydney (via the Snowy Mountains) with 20 others on the 2016 Tour de Chance. The tour supports the wonderful work of Fighting Chance (http://fightingchance.org.au/), a Sydney based non-profit organisation that provides amazing opportunities for meaningful employment and social participation to young people with the most significant disabilities in our community. Their work is meaningful, innovative and driven by a strong sense of purpose that we all have strengths and can achieve wonderful things.
The aim is now to raise $500,000 to enable Fighting Chance to open 3 new workplaces where 180 young adults with disability can build their skills and confidence in a supported environment, and be empowered to reach personal and professional goals. Here is a short video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SefU7Z9xIYY&feature=youtu.be) that will give you a sense for the fantastic impact that this will have on the lives of these 180 people.
