After three highly successful years of supporting students from a refugee background, we are now planning for Show Me The Way-Parramatta 2017. 16 Students will come from Arthur Phillip High School and Parramatta High School and connect with Show Me The Way-trained e-mentors from corporate Australia. Not only will the students engage in purposeful online conversations they will produce 4 case study mini documentaries of professionals from a refugee background. Examples of these can be found at http://www.showmetheway.org.au/role-models.html
In order to transport our students to our Video Workshops and various shoots, we need access to 4 mini buses and also drivers as detailed below.
We need TRANSPORT and DRIVERS - buses and drivers to get students to events.
We need the use of 4 mini buses in June (2 consecutive days TBA) to transport 16 students and their teachers in the local Western Sydney area.
You do not need a special license, a standard driving license is all that is required.
If you are available to either drive our students or you have a vehicle that we can use, between these dates, please VOLUNTEER and we will get in touch to discuss availability.
