The Australian Pituitary Foundation Ltd was founded in Sydney in 1994 by pituitary patients and family members, with the endorsement of Australian endocrinologists, neurosurgeons, radiation therapists and endocrine nurses, who saw the need to support people who have rare conditions of the pituitary gland.
The Australian Pituitary Foundation is involved in a number of activities including:
• Supporting healthcare professionals
• Networking with endocrine support groups
• Lobbying government
• Providing a support network
• Arranging education & social activities
• Promoting Pituitary awareness
By making a donation to Australian Pituitary Foundation you are extending your hand to assist people in the community living with pituitary conditions. As a Not For Profit organisation who does not receive any ongoing government funding, we are reliant on donations, memberships and sponsors to support us in our efforts.
With your help we can continue to deliver our vital support services to improve quality of life for people affected by pituitary disorders and educate and create awareness in the wider community.
