Each year, thousands of people visit Wayside for assistance in gaining equitable access to essential health, welfare and related services. In the last year alone, Wayside provided, amongst other services, 7,680 community meals, 6,776 changes of clothing, 14,100 hours of support to people with a long-term mental health issue, and 1,991 social and recreational activities for the whole community to participate in. People purchased over 86,100 low cost items in our café, there were 6,699 instances of support for youth at risk and 8,703 members of the community visited Wayside to learn more about our work.
Overall, 79,300 instances of support were provided to people seeking assistance or just stopping by for a chat and a place where they can find company and acceptance.
Making a donation will help Wayside to continue to stand with people at their worst and see them through to better days.
