Every 15 hours an Australian child is born with cerebral palsy.
The severity of cerebral palsy differs from child to child but almost all children with cerebral palsy will need some form of equipment. This specialised equipment is often very expensive and out of reach for most families.
No child should have to wait for life-changing equipment and thanks to your support we are truly changing children's lives.
For the past fifteen years, teams have gathered at sunrise on Shelly Beach, Manly to take part in a physically demanding yet rewarding experience. Teams of four compete against one another in a ‘triathlon like’ course consisting of a 2km swim, 15km walk/run and 3km kayak.
The 20/twenty Challenge takes place over a spectacular coastal course that stretches from stunning Shelly Beach to beautiful Balmoral Beach. The views alone make the journey worthwhile.
Each team is challenged to raise $8,000, every dollar of which, goes directly towards purchasing much-needed mobility and communication equipment for these children.
If you don't wish to take part in the event, you can help the team reach their $8,000 target by donating here:
